Fatal Shot - Chapter 547
Chapter 547: The Hope for Two Forces
It was up to 1000, no less than the attack power of a Rare sniper rifle.
It was even higher compared to Ghost Weep, reaching a B+-Grade destruction coefficient, 100% highest movement speed enhancement…every attribute of this Legendary-Grade flying knife could be said to be at least one time more than Rare equipment of the same level, what was truly great was still the included skill.
Death Trial.
When hitting critical points, as long as it was not a target of Quasi-Boss and above, it would have to take this trial with a chance of death.
Even if it was a Heavy Armored Warrior with full health, as long as they met this chance, they would be instantly killed with one slash.
This chance was able to be raised by the amount of Force consumed, able to reach the highest of the “Compatibility” upper limit.
Speaking of Compatibility, Feng Luo had another doubt; because of last night, he had been hit by this Legendary-Grade flying knife in battle.
Luckily it did not hit a critical point, thus the “Fatal” situation did not appear.
When he pulled the knife out, he had experienced the “hallucinations” created by the system when the Compatibility had exceeded 90%.
Once he held this knife in hand back then, he felt like his thoughts had completely come to a standstill in an instant and the surrounding was all still – his ears could hear the heartbeats and the flowing blood in all the people around him, his eyes could see the fatal critical points in every person’s brain, throat, and heart.
However, when he checked the attributes of this scalpel, he realized that this knife was just like the “Death Gaze” from before – the Compatibility was actually very low.
Compared to the 60% Compatibility of “Death Gaze,” this scalpel was even lower in Compatibility – actually only 20%, this was certainly way too low.
The Compatibility of Legendary equipment corresponded to the effect of the included skill.
Doesn’t this mean that when he was using this flying knife before, the highest was only a 20% fatal chance?
The problem was that if it was only 20%, how was it possible that he had the hallucinations from before upon coming into contact with the equipment? Should he believe in his feeling or believe in the data?
When exchanging the “Death Gaze” component with Onishi, Feng Luo had chosen to believe in his feeling.
He had grasped that Compatibility was possibly determined by the system based on the “healing” attribute of his Force, thus the Compatibility with attack type skills was not high. However, he also had a “Fatal” Talent – seeing it from Force and Talent aspects, the attributes of this Talent were very compatible with this Legendary flying knife.
Previously he had guessed it – even as for whether the second Talent was able to awaken the Force, Feng Luo was unable to be certain. It seemed like there was someone he could consult.
“Is one person able to possess two Forces?” Feng Luo looked towards Haruko across, asking suddenly.
“Two Forces?” Haruko’s expression froze slightly.
Even Digital Cat who was continuously calculating the T-750 data on the table had swiftly looked up at Feng Luo upon hearing him.
“The Life Force of living beings is essentially just a medium for manipulating the Universe Force; although there are currently still many aspects of the detailed principles regarding Force yet to be completely discovered, its usage methods have indeed already been more well-studied. At the start, upon discovering Force, the Galaxy Empire discovered that many people were able to consecutively autonomously awaken not just one type of Force. In that era, there was research attempted on these people who had autonomously awakened multiple types of Force, and ways that allowed everyone to use multiple Forces had been found. One of the most direct ways was to use the help of foreign objects – Legendary equipment was hence created from this theory.” Haruko said.
“This means it isn’t rare to have multiple Forces?” Feng Luo creased his forehead, not knowing why he was feeling rather disappointed.
“No, it’s very rare. Although the included skill of equipment and some unique methods, medicine can also grasp multiple Forces. However, that requires some prerequisite conditions in the body – there are currently no Adventurers who have achieved them. If it was earning multiple Forces through autonomous awakening, it can be successful at this stage, but the difficulty of autonomous awakening of the second Force is 10 times much harder compared to the first.” Haruko said staring at Feng Luo, shaking her head.
“Multiple Forces? Crap, I’ve just found the way to awaken Force, my Guidance progress has just reached 5%, how could some ‘multiple Forces’ have appeared now? OMG, is the progress of this game a little too fast?” Big Pineapple let out a howl, saying depressingly in the players’ channel.
“Relax, how’s it possible for it to progress so quickly? Hearing how this goes, it’s clear that a person’s multiple Forces are not easily grasped, even if it was to be fully announced, I guess we must at least wait until half the players have awakened their Force before it could possibly be done. These days, other than that Invikill we sold the Evolution Fluid to, I haven’t heard of anyone revealing that they’ve awakened their Force, so why’re you in a rush here? Also, don’t take your 5% progress out to brag. Speaking of which, since she had appeared for a while yesterday, my progress has become 95%. Leader Feng, what do you say, do I have a chance to compete for the name of the second player to awaken Force?” Phoenix held a chin, her face gleaming with a fiery smile.
Feng Luo had never voluntarily revealed himself, and so Invikill was known as the only player who had awakened Force.
Phoenix’s Guidance progress was already so close – she was very likely to succeed in Force Awakening soon. Until then, she was very likely able to start quite a big sensation. After all, she would very likely be the first female player in War to have awakened Force until then.
“Right, the Force Guidance Chip is formulated based on single Force, so even if someone possesses multiple Forces, it’d be unable to inform you about the Compatibility between the other Force and your equipment as well as the Force Awakening situation of the other Force.” NPCs would not hear the players speaking in the channel. Thus, Haruko only stared at Feng Luo, as if deliberately saying a bit before standing up.
“Alright, let’s end it here regarding this mission. You all may enter the equipment warehouse and exchange for your required items now.” Haruko’s silhouette transformed into white light and vanished from the room.
“Alright, I’ll be leaving too then. Have to work hard for Force awakening.” Big Pineapple smiled sheepishly as he too prepared to leave the virtual space.
“You’re not exchanging for equipment?” Phoenix asked as she stretched herself, glancing at him.
“Having been through today’s mission, plus the Authorizations of this month, I’ve accumulated a B-Grade Authorization. Another few days of farming Merit then changing it to points and exchanging for a Force-compatible Legendary equipment and it would be more worth it.” Big Pineapple’s straight eyes stared once again at where they should not be staring as he mumbled.
“Mm, forgotten about this matter, it seems like I’m also just some points away from 5000. As for exchanging for whatever equipment, I’d rather wait till Master John has finished making the armor before I decide.” Phoenix recalled how she had planned before at that moment.
Thinking up to here, she turned to Feng Luo and spoke with a smile.
“Leader Feng, we’ll get going then, remember to help me give Master John a push to speed up.” Digital Cat’s silhouette entered the equipment warehouse straightaway; although she had not killed anyone in this mission, the assist from her hacking instrument was irreplaceable – she still had at least a certain amount of points and Authorization rewards.
“Switch to the equipment warehouse.” Feng Luo had chosen to enter too, preparing to exchange.
