From Sidekick to Bigshot - Chapter 1249
Chapter 1249: An Yang’s Jealousy (1)
An Yang had to return to university to settle some formalities.
He was currently taking a break from university. Once his break was over, he could return to university to continue his studies.
An Yang drove his car through the university gates.
When he drove past the entrance of the girls’ dormitory building, An Yang couldn’t help but slow down.
Hu Jiaojiao lived in room 318 of Building 5.
As the doors of the dormitory building would close at eleven o’clock, in the past, he would send Hu Jiaojiao back to her dormitory almost every single night.
Once it was past eleven o’clock, the lady in charge of the dormitory would lock the doors. That night, Hu Jiaojiao became so upset she almost began to cry.
Back then, An Yang took Hu Jiaojiao to a hotel near their university.
When they arrived at the reception of the hotel, the receptionist had a knowing look on her face.
When An Yang and Hu Jiaojiao saw this, they were too shy to even raise their heads.
Then, they asked for two rooms. One for each of them.
As Hu Jiaojiao never stayed in such a hotel before, she was very scared. And thus, An Yang called her and they spent the entire night listening to each other’s breathing.
An Yang smiled bitterly as he remembered this before he accelerated the speed of his car.
Just when he was about to leave, An Yang suddenly saw Hu Jiaojiao walk out of her dormitory building.
As soon as he saw her, An Yang suddenly felt nervous. He lowered his head and did not want Hu Jiaojiao to see him.
However, after a while, he couldn’t help but raise his head again to look at Hu Jiaojiao.
Hu Jiaojiao did not notice An Yang or his car.
Instead, she walked right over to a Ferrari parked next to her and got into the car.
After Hu Jiaojiao got in, the Ferrari quickly drove out of the university gates.
An Yang froze for a while before he called his lackeys. He asked them to look up the owner of the red Ferrari that had just driven away.
After he gave his lackeys the license plate number, they quickly found out the name of the owner – Han Mengyu.
How could this be?!
Han Mengyu was a well-known playboy in Beijing. He had been in scandals with countless celebrities and stars.
Why was Hu Jiaojiao interacting with such a man? She would be eaten up alive!
No! He had to tell his Boss about this!
As An Yang knew Han Mengyu interacted with Master Sheng from time to time, it would be most effective for him to speak to Jian Yiling about this matter.
An Yang completely forgot the goal of his trip. Instead, he sped all the way to Jian Yiling and Zhai Yunsheng’s apartment.
As Jian Yiling had been busy with her wedding planning, she reduced her normal workload. And thus, she was currently staying at home.
An Yang rushed through the doors.
“Boss, that Han Mengyu who sticks around Master Sheng. Why is he messing with Jiaojiao?”
“Hmm?” Jian Yiling asked as she brewed tea. Her slender fingers were slow and methodical.
“I talking about that playboy called Han Mengyu! He’s not the kind of person who treats feelings seriously! If Jiaojiao’s with him, she will definitely suffer a lot of heartbreak! You have to keep the two of them apart!”

“A Sheng said that they’re free to date whoever they want”
“What do you mean by free to date whoever they want? Jiaojiao is a very fragile girl! If she dates Han Mengyu, she will definitely get hurt!” An Yang cried out anxiously.
“That won’t be the case. He’s not a bad person,” Jian Yiling calmly responded. Even though Han Mengyu was known to be flirtatious, he definitely did not play with people’s feelings.
Before he slept with someone, he would first tell them that this was merely a one-night stand. There would be no feelings attached to their interaction or relationship.
He wouldn’t suggest nor imply that he wanted the other person to be his girlfriend.
“Boss! If someone is a bad person, those words won’t be written on his face!” An Yang cried out. He was incredibly anxious and worried.
Even though Jian Yiling’s IQ was incredibly high, her opinion and judgment of people weren’t necessarily the best.
After all, what part of Han Mengyu didn’t scream the words bad?!
